3D Welding table with fume capture capability

The capture of welding fumes on larger welded constructions with short welding seams has always produced unsatisfactory results. In practice, the constant need to move the extractor arm is not accepted. It is also practically impossible to capture the so-called "post-welding fumes". Using a combination of an extracting table surface a spatially limited, enclosed welding area and an adjustable air supply in the canopy makes it possible to collect and remove welding fumes on a table with a surface of approximately 3 m2 with minimum air utilization. The air in the cabin works against rising welding fumes, stopping them and finally pushing them downwards.

The polluted air is sucked through the slots in Försters' welding table, fed through a filter unit and cleansed.
